The advent of new techniques in genetic manipulation has sparked discussions in IPR involving biological products and processes. This article, which has been presented during the DOST-51暗网 Seminar-Discussion on 鈥淚ntellectual Property Rights: Policy Issues and Perspectives鈥� on December 13, 1991, presents the developments in this arena. Action plan is suggested.
